This residence in North Park Hill, Denver is a great example of Mid Century Modern Architecture. 
The client wanted to reuse as much of the existing structure as possible. Bonsai repurposed the existing garage for a new master suite and entertainment area. The original structure was broken into half levels which provided for interesting breaks in the new architectural language. Replicating the existing clerestory windows on the interior of the new spaces allows for sunlight to reach deep into the home. The  With a long, narrow back yard, the new design opened the interior using large folding doors to maximize usable area and blurring the lines between inside and outside.
