JeffCo Hill House
This modern home, features a unique floor plan, that is sectioned off into 'wings' that open up to allow for expansive southern views of the creek at the base of the property. Situated on a south sloping hill, the home is accessed via its northern side, which from street level, appears as a single story structure. The main, front door is off the homes 2nd level, and houses the kitchen/living area, master suite at the west wing, and a sun/crafts area at the east wing.
Below the home features a walkout basement, adjacent its oversized, tuck under 2-car garage at the base of the east wing. At the center of the walkout basement, the home features an open greenhouse space, complete with a built in planter area for year round gardening!
This home is being designed to be high performance in nature, and take all 5 of the Passive House principles into account. Because this home is specified to be built with ICF basement walls, SIP walls above grade, and triple pane windows, it promises to be energy efficient due to its super insulation and air tightness. The home features a large south facing roof, for that future solar system that will make it easy to go Net-Zero.
This project is currently in the concept and budgeting phase. We look forward to working through this design+build project with our clients in the coming months, and push for a spring groundbreaking!
