GRACE HARMON

Architectural Designer

Grace Harmon, originally from Peru, made the significant decision to relocate to New Mexico in the early 2000s. Upon her arrival in America, Grace eagerly enrolled in both English and CAD drafting classes, setting the stage for her future career. After earning her drafting degree, she secured a position with an architect who played a pivotal role in nurturing her deep appreciation for the field. This newfound passion inspired her to pursue a degree in architecture, where she found immense joy in using her talents to help others bring their ideas to life.

Grace obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Architecture and a Master of Architecture from the University of New Mexico, where she refined her skills and expanded her knowledge of design principles. This combination of education and hands-on experience has equipped Grace with a robust foundation in architecture. Inspired by her experiences studying the Incan ruins, Grace now combines her architectural skills with a strong commitment to environmental sustainability. Every project she takes on, from the first meeting to the final touches, comes with its own set of challenges that she eagerly embraces. With over twelve years of experience as an intern architect and more than six years as a Drafter, she has built a well-rounded skill set that allows her to effectively support various architectural projects. Her career journey highlights her commitment to ongoing education and professional advancement in the vibrant field of architecture.

Spending time with her family is her greatest joy, surpassing all other activities in her life. Whether it's enjoying a meal, playing games, or just being together, these moments create a profound sense of warmth and belonging that she cherishes deeply. For her, these interactions are not just pastimes; they are the essence of what makes life meaningful and fulfilling.
